The vision of the Blue Line materialized as early as 1993, during the hardship of war taking place on the Croatian territory, when a passenger ship «Kraljica mira» dared to sail towards Italy transporting humanitarian aid and refugees. «Kraljica mira» was sailing at that time under the flag of SEM Maritime Company (SMC), and in 1997 the passenger ship «Split 1700» joined the same company.

 

SMC existed on the Croatian - Italian market up to 2003, when the maritime company Blue Line Int succeeded its maritime traditon, setting new standards in the naval transportation.

 

In 2003 Blue Line ordered the passenger ship "Ancona", at the time it was the largest ship in the Adriatic, which together with the passenger ship "Split 1700" sailed on the ferry line between Italy - Croatia.

In 2010 Blue Line's fleet was enriched with ferry "Regina della Pace", which with its impressive appearance, luxury cabins, restaurants, duty free shops and capacity, definitely take the first place as the largest and the most beautiful passenger ship in the Adriatic, and aside from this it is the first LOW COST ship in the Mediterranean!

In May 2010. The "Regina della Pace" will alongside the ship "Ancona" sails on a regularly on the ferry line Split-Ancona-Split, reflecting the seasonal lines Ancona-Hvar-Ancona and Ancona-Vis-Ancona.
